The church quite often passes through different seasons; it has its high and low seasons It has moments of unity and celebration where the drums of the kingdom cause the saints to march forward with the banner of Christ toward the fulfillment of the Great Commission. And it has those other moments when the winds of discord conflict, and carnal disposition are blowing strongly, causing the church to go off course. In times such as these, we need “a word in due season,” a word that is dressed with common sense, clothed with the power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit, words that have drawn from the fountain of Living Water the eternal wisdom of God’s Word.
