If today’s church fulfills God’s mission in our world, it must recover its roots, reclaim gospel truth, realign with God’s holiness, and reassign to God’s purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission. Nothing Less will achieve this hope. The author draws upon an Old Testament priest named Ezra as his model for examining the vision, the faith, the inspiration, and the commitment found in revival. It was Ezra who “prepared his heart to see the law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments” (Ezra 7:10 KJV). Can we do less?
