The Tabernacle was to be the place where God's presence would dwell and guide His people as they marched to the promised land. The Tabernacle was the one place on all of the earth where God would meet with man, and man could met with God. Therefore the building of the Tabernacle was one of the most joyful and momentous occasions in the history of Israel.
