Daniel Sidney Warner (1842-95) was a leading evangelist and writer of the American Holiness movement, whose work established the movement now known as the Church of God, headquartered in Anderson, Indiana. Warner emphasized personal salvation, Christian holiness, and the unity of the church. The resulting movement, with nearly a million adherents worldwide, is a unique fusion of the Wesleyan holiness, Anabaptist, and Pietist traditions.
