Bedtime Stories have been written in the simple language of childhood to supply busy parents with material for the entertainment and the elevation of their children. The stories are taken, for the most part, from the Old Testament, but are presented in the language of every-day life. Each story points out some prevalent sin or teaches some moral. Busy mothers, we are sure, will find it a great help in satisfying the little ones at bedtime with appreciated and longed-for stories. No Christian mother can fail to appreciate the superiority of Bible narratives over ghost-stories and fairy-tales. No other book can furnish us as good material for the entertainment, the elevation, and the education of the minds of both young and old as the Bible.
