Church of God at the Crossroads

As I begin this writing I am sixty years of age. I have been wrestling with the temptation to suppress what I have to say. I could simply continue to enjoy the enriching friendships I have in the church, pursue my work as a preacher of the Gospel and teacher, and let others think and talk about where the Church of God now is and where it is going. But I am increasingly convinced that to do so is for me to deny who I am in God’s economy. I have decided that I need to express my perspective so that it can be part of the discussion now going on, or, at least, the discussion that should be going on. -- the Author
