A Study Book for the Church on experiencing the presence of God through worhsip, prayer, and service.
It is a fact of life that people of faith require spiritual nourishment to maintain a healthy and vibrant spiritual life. Just as our physical body requires and demands nutrients that will supply the basics for a healthy body, so it is with our spiritual lives.
The three articles in this book represent three crucial inputs into the life of the believer: worship, prayer, and service. On the surface these three seem totally understandable and possible for all believers. The concepts behind each are grounded in the word of God and are explicit throughout church history in all faith groups. What then is the troublesome reason why they are less practiced today? In my analysis the answer emerges out of one word―discipline.
