FOR many years men have been puzzled about the meaning of the words of Jesus recorded in Matthew 21:21: “If ye have faith, and doubt not . . . ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be cast into the sea; it shall be done.” We think we have learned the meaning in Trinidad.
In our work in that island we have begun to move mountains; not literal ones, but great mountainlike barriers that have impeded God’s work for many years. We are hurling these into the sea. It has taken a number of years for the missionaries to fully comprehend this faith Jesus said was necessary to do the job. However, during the last three years we have made some great discoveries in the use of trust and works to develop a kind of faith that will move mountains.
