No part of my life has been more rewarding or more interesting than the years I have spent teaching New Testament Greek, Bible, and Theology. The privilege of teaching, counseling, and encouraging outstanding Christian young men and women is unsurpassed. I have learned much from them; I trust and hope that they have learned from me, and seen in me some source of challenge, of encouragement, of strength. We have explored and enjoyed together some of the humor and the lighter moments of life, as well as the most serious ones. Through the years, many a day’s duties have been refreshed and enlivened by what my students have written in papers, reports, and tests.
