ACCORDING to Genesis 11:1, there was a time on this earth when all men spoke one language. After the flood God commanded men to disperse over the earth but they refused to obey His voice. In defiance of His command they assembled on the plains of Shinar and determined to build a tower reaching from earth to heaven to prevent their being scattered throughout the world
