First of all God’s Will is found in God’s Word where it is called the Old Testament and the New Testament. These are sometimes referred to as the First and Second Covenant as: “For if the FIRST covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the SECOND.’’ Heb_8:7. Thatthe SECOND covenant replaces the FIRST is seen as follows: “In that He saith, a NEW covenant, He hath made the FIRST old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to VANISH away.” Heb_8:13.
Consequently, it is within the contents of the SECOND covenant that God fully reveals what He wants for his children.
