The one sole purpose has been to help some one on in the heavenly way, and to glorify God. The Lord has marvelously provided the means to defray the expenses of publishing this book. We purpose, the Lord willing, to have a second book published as soon as a sufficient number of this book has been sold to pay the expenses of publishing the second. Christian reader, these are days of coldness, lukewarmness, indifference, carelessness. Have a care. Keep your soul full of life. Keep filled with the Spirit. Pray in the Spirit. Beware of coldness in prayer. Such praying is dangerous. It can result only in starvation of the soul.
