Although this is only the year 1971 and we remain, momentarily on the threshold of the Seventies, this writer senses that this might well be called the “Sobbing Seventies.”
Our world is filled with heart hunger that cannot be satisfied until the people turn to God.
The people of the world will not be turning to God until the church experiences a revival of love for God and concern for His erring people.
When the church gets excited about God’s message it will fill the earth. If the church fails, there is little encouragement for the future.
Shallow religion, rock music though using the name of Jesus, the so-called “Jesus Freaks;” none of this can satisfy the hungering souls of men.
God wills for all men to own Him as Sovereign and allow Him to direct their lives.
