It has now been some years since a work has been brought out treating exclusively the subject of vital HOLINESS in a plain and simple manner. We have, therefore, felt for some time the need for a restatement of the truth pertaining to the all-important subject, “holiness,” “entire sanctification.” . . .
There has been no striving for literary effect, but it has been our intention to speak boldly and plainly concerning the experience of holiness, what it is, and how to obtain it, together with the urge of the absolute necessity and urgency of obtaining it. To this end this work is submitted to our readers with the prayer of our heart that it may prove a blessing to the earnest reader.
