Rediscover the Passion, the Promise, the Power

Many Christians seem to have lost their sense of fire and passion for serving the Lord. Is this an inevitable consequence of following Jesus Christ for a number of years? Moss has just completed a revised version of his 2010 work Rediscover: the Passion, the Promise, the Power. The book is a challenge to individual believers and congregations alike to rediscover spiritual passion and the evidence of the power of God in daily life. This version includes a new chapter helping readers consider what must be done to prepare ourselves for inevitable times of testing such as the COVID pandemic of 2020. These situations reveal what’s hidden in our hearts, and they prove our need of God’s help. We can take the opportunity to “reset,” to receive God’s power and confidence—finding peace even in troubled times.

Rediscover is a great tool to use as a basis for a teaching series, for Sunday school classes, and for small groups. Discussion questions are printed at the end of each chapter. Readers can restart their spiritual lifecycle as they experience the thrill of rediscovery.
