Writing the pages of this manuscript has not been the arduous task that one would suppose, but rather a supreme joy. The reason is that for years Ephesians has been a favorite book of mine, both for devotional reading and as a source for preaching the great truths about the body of Christ.
This book is not a commentary on the Epistle to the Ephesians. It is not intended to be a theological treatise. Nor is it a book of expository sermons.
Our purpose has been to lift up some of the great, but obviously apparent themes that are presented in this most sublime of the great apostle’s letters.
May this simple presentation whet your appetite and stimulate you to delve more deeply into the great reservoirs of truth found in this epistle.
