The Early Morning Light: A friendly reflection on some of the main events in the life of the Church of God reformation movement during the first fifty years  by Robert H. Reardon.

I have been associated during my entire lifetime with our movement, first as a pastor, and now for thirty-two years as part of the Anderson College faculty and staff. Although some of the things which I say in this discussion may seem unvarnished, as I try to tell the story from the record and as nearly as I know it I shall do it from a heart of great love and appreciation. The persons I have mentioned have been like an extended family; they have shaped my life and everything good that has happened to me. My education, my values, my friends, my opportunities to serve, my wife, the nurture of my family, all the things that I prize above everything else—these things came to me through the life and the work of the Church of God and the people in it.
