This small book has been prepared from the viewpoint that, while there are some human shortcomings in any fellowship like this, these are far outweighed by the ideals, purposes, and positive contributions of this movement known as the Church of God.
The writing has been done in response to many hundreds of requests for information about the Church of God. Pastors of most of the two thousand congregations of the Church of God have expressed the need for an inexpensive book such as this—brief, descriptive and explanatory—which they can place in the hands of interested persons who ask about the Church of God.
