The object in writing this work is not only to awaken the sinner to his condition, and the source of deliverance, but also to teach what is required in order to obtain an experience of salvation, and point out some of the snares, pitfalls, and deceptions of the enemy.
While many devices of Satan are not mentioned, and others only briefly referred to, we trust the subject is sufficiently set forth to enable those lost in sin to know how to seek the Lord and find deliverance.
