Three reasons may be given for my writing this little book.
1. Some of my friends have asked me to write something on this subject.
2. The Bible teaches the doctrine of entire sanctification subsequent to conversion.
3. I believe God wills that I write this book and set forth the truth in a way that will be easily understood.
The author wishes to express his gratitude to the church of God in Newark, Ohio, for their exceptional liberality, which made possible the publication of this work. My prayer to God is that the reading of this work will help Christians to see that God wills their sanctification.
