Emily Gardiner Neal writes: “A certain bitter cold night in February will be forever circled in the calendar of my life—the night I inadvertently stumbled upon the fact of spiritual healing.”
Mrs. Neal was a reporter for a large Eastern Newspaper. She decided to write a series of articles exposing, or at least investigating, “faith healing.” Her scientific background was to be employed to its fullest in stripping away the mystique and the magic of spiritual healing. She would get the facts.
The facts proved to be quite different from what she had expected. She writes: “After several years of meticulous research and exhaustive study of the Christian faith, I found the ministry of healing solid theologically, and its results verifiable scientifically; I thought it was the most exciting story I had ever encountered.”
