This book is different from all the other Minor Prophets. It is the only one which presents its message in a story, rather than in the form of a sermon. The story is told in the third person, but it was probably written by Jonah himself.
Jonah's story is one of intriguing interest because he is so much like each one of us! Maybe we don't want to admit it, but in the saga of this travel-worn prophet we can find ourselves - if we look close enough.
