Most evangelical Christians have been shocked by the announcement that one of the larger churches has come out with the bold declaration that their Sunday School courses will be revised. In the future their children will be taught that the creation story is a myth; that Noah and his Ark is a fairy story; that David did not kill Goliath and the story of the virgin birth was a myth.
It looks as though these people may have mythed the boat! It would be difficult to convince Noah of any myth. He not only spent 120 years building it but he sailed it for a long time. The people who mythed the boat in Noah’s day mythed everything.
